What to Expect from Your House Cleaning Service
At MAID IN A MINUTE, we believe clear communication is key to providing reliable, professional house cleaning services. The policies below outline what you can expect when booking residential or property cleaning services with our team in the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas.
Arrival Times
Our professional cleaning team does its best to arrive at your scheduled appointment time, working within an approximate 30-minute arrival window. This flexibility allows us to complete each home with the same care and attention — including yours.
If we expect to arrive outside of this window, we will contact you by call or text with an update. Our goal is always to provide dependable, stress-free house cleaning services while maintaining quality and consistency.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Your cleaning appointment is reserved exclusively for you and our cleaning team. To help us maintain efficient schedules and provide consistent service to all clients, we kindly request at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
If our team is unable to access your home or reach you at the scheduled appointment time, the full cost of the cleaning service will be charged. This fee helps cover the reserved time, staffing, and operational costs associated with your appointment.
We’re always happy to assist with rescheduling, subject to availability, and appreciate your understanding as we work to keep our residential cleaning services reliable for everyone.
Staffing & Appointment Adjustments
To ensure your cleaning service stays on schedule, we may occasionally adjust the number of cleaners assigned to your appointment based on staff availability (for example, one cleaner instead of two, or vice versa).
Regardless of staffing adjustments, our priority is to maintain the quality and completion of your cleaning service. If you have specific timing or staffing preferences, please let us know in advance so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.
Furniture & Heavy Items
For the safety of our cleaning professionals, we do not move heavy furniture or appliances, including (but not limited to):

Couches

Beds
-
Dressers
-
Ovens
If you would like areas underneath or around furniture cleaned, please ensure those items are moved prior to your appointment.
What’s Included in Your Cleaning Service
Our team handles most standard household cleaning tasks as part of our residential and property cleaning services.
For health and safety reasons, we are unable to clean:

Pet waste

Mold or hazardous materials

Deceased animals

High or inaccessible areas beyond safe reach

Junk removal or disposal services

Cleaning Products & Equipment
MAID IN A MINUTE provides all necessary professional cleaning products and equipment, including vacuums, mops, and supplies. We primarily use eco-friendly, family-safe cleaning products suitable for homes with children and pets.
If you prefer specific products to be used in your home, please leave them clearly labeled and accessible for our cleaning team on the day of service.
